"We didn’t know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful inn. We were warmly welcomed by Gail upon arrival and shown around the property after registering us.

"Honestly this review will be a bit pointless. We were moved from the Oakes to the Hilton across the street because of an issue with our room. I can say, even from the second floor the view of the river was great. "The room was nice.
Once we were settled in for night we noticed the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned (there were signs) and I contacted the hotel in the morning and they offered to fully clean the room or move us. We accepted the deep clean. I appreciated how they fixed the situation.
Please note that you can't adjust the temperature in the room. The thermostat is locked. I reached out to have it unlocked and they said that wasn't possible. As a perimenopausal woman I found it difficult to sleep....

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and we had a good overall experience. The only issue was an unpleasant smell in our room. We asked to change rooms, and the staff accommodated our request quickly, but the second room also had a slight odor, which was a bit annoying. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable."

"We had a room on the top floor overlooking the American falls. Excellent room, Excellent view, we were totally pleased with the experience.
