"Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended."

The rooms are spacious, clean, and cool, and they have the best ‘continental’ breakfast we have experienced. The private parking lot was blocked off due to construction, but they provided close, easy parking in a public lot for the same fee."

"This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!"

"This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

"Great view; friendly staff; very clean. Only complaint would be only 1 very slow elevator for the entire hotel. Also the one night we were tired and were going to eat in the restaurant at the hotel they closed early without notice leaving us to scramble outside the hotel for food with a very tired toddler. Overall we had a very fun vacation."

"If you want to stay near the pier and good restaurants this is the place to stay. Room 407 had an amazing view of the pier. Friendly staff. Private entrance to The Spot, which is one of our go to places to eat. Has a small play area for the kids. Good pool for the kids too. Doesn't have any shade on the pool though. Cons: not only do you have to pay for parking, the parking garage is actually behind the building across a street. I mean its helpful that its in a garage to block out the TX heat....

"The room was dirty, poorly patched up walls, food or something stuck on the bathroom door, all of the ice machines in the building were broken, the door latch on the inside door was hanging on by 1 screw, and a possible blood stain on the ceiling of the elevator. The staff we spoke with was pleasant. There just wasn’t much they were able to help us with. I only saw one person working at a time and they were constantly mopping, doing laundry, checking people in, etc. We didn’t eat breakfast...

"We stayed during the of July weekend. Clean rooms and a decent breakfast variety (I made breakfast tacos our first morning in the hotel with the options they provided). Parking is $20/day and you get in and out privileges which is great. The hotel is directly across from Stewert Beach so we walked across the street to enjoy there are no sidewalks on the hotel side and the traffic lights for pedestrians did not work when we were there so you're playing a game of frogger lol).
