Lovely waterfront locations - very accessible to great dining options! Black pearl is a great place for a quiet cocktail! Parking can be congested, not reserved for hotel guests.

We stay at danfords anytime we are on the island, we love it! It’s convenient to the ferry. The restaurant and bar is beautiful (not cheap). The rooms are comfy, clean and spacious!

Room was clean and spacious. There were a few issues that we alerted to the hotel, but did not change the overall stay. Beautiful view from room with balcony. The Black Pearl restaurant was fantastic, but pricey (so be prepared). The front lobby was decorated for the holiday, it was warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall our stay was great!

A gem of a hotel

It's taken me 30 years to stay at this hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay. This is a gem of a hotel, romantic, cute, and so well located. My 2 queen bed room was very large on the first floor with a bathtub, which was most appreciated. The staff was very nice. A wonderful stay.

Room was cold and quite draughty. Had dinner in the Pearl which I’d recommend against, ordered steak - turned up incorrect and cold. Lobster tails were like rubber. Room carpet was soaked in front of refrigerator. Hotel is ok but needs to do better.
