I enjoyed the restaurant on the property and the lovely harbor view I had also the hotel workers helped me with my luggage. I did not like that the Yoga Spa was not open and did not return phone calls promptly. I would have liked to enjoy a massage at the Yoga Spa and so would my friend. I had stayed about two years ago at Danford's and the Spa was always open for business it is unfortunate that is the not the case today.

It’s a pretty property and great location right on the water and by lots of bars and restaurants, our room was nice but had issues - phone and fridge didnt work, loose bathroom tiles that could have been dangerous, and a bathroom that kept sticking - lucky we didn’t get locked in. Not worth the price.

I love the location and historic charm of the of the hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant on site is a great place to eat. There is a per day”resort fee” that is charged to stay there however this is not a resort. There is also a reduced per day parking fee that is charged to the hotel guests.

Very convenient to walk to various shops and establishments in Port Jefferson. The private seating in front of our room was wonderful. Parking was convenient and the room was nicely decorated. This was a great little getaway with a beautiful view.
