Basin Harbor

"Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort)."

"The staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean with a small shower but great hot water and water pressure. We wanted fridge, microwave and coffee maker and those were clean and worked well. Location for the local attractions was perfect."

"We had a great one night stay. Mini golf, pickle ball, pool and hot tub were wonderful. S’mores at the fire pits was peak vacation vibes. Staff was excellent. Our room in the West Lodge was overall good: our son was very excited about the bunk beds. The only thing lacking was a comfy spot to sit in the room. There were two standard dining chairs at the small table and two adirondacks on the balcony but a cozy seat or two indoors would have been perfection. Wish we could have spent more time exploring and enjoying - we will definitely stay there again in the future."

"Another good stay at a Holiday Inn Express. There were hairs left in the bathroom and on the bed. It wasn't horrible but it did gross me out a bit. A tile in front of the toilet was coming loose so it moved every time we stepped on it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable for 4 people. There could be more hooks or towel bars. There was more parking in the back, which we didn't know about the last time we stayed."

"Very nice place- convenient to trailheads. Friendly responsive staff by phone that helped with access to the room. Basic room- clean, comfortable and stocked with water, coffee and snacks which were much appreciated. Close to restaurant, town, beach. Would definitely stay again."
