Excellent service and breakfasts. Looks like a great beach for the summer although we were mainly going into Port Elizabeth. Although the rooms were slightly dated, they were nice and clean.

Für den Preis unschlagbar. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung (die etwas teureren Zimmer scheinen auch besser und grösser zu sein). Das Frühstück ist großartig und ersetzt quasi das Mittagessen. Parkieren kann man im Innenhof. In der Umgebung gibt es leider praktisch keine Restaurants. Deshalb muss man jeweils 15-20 Minuten in die Stadt fahren. Ohne Auto ist die Unterkunft eher nicht zu empfehlen.

Friendly nice hotel near to sea

Located along the beach just north of Port Elizabeth with good access to N2. The staff were all very welcoming and looked after us very well. The accommodation was clean and to a reasonable standard. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal (has to be pre-ordered in morning) was up to same standard and offered great value for money. Would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay in Port Elizabeth.

Not that bad, only one inconvenience because I got there late as a result they close at 22:00. If you get there after that, you have no signage indicating which way to go to your room. I was in the DECK.

Generally happy about this hotel, located on the Bluewater Bay. Two adults and two kids, we were in a two bedroom flat in the back of the house, no seaview. The only downside to this booking is that while the hotel was advertised as having "Free breakfast", we were told on arrival that we had the self catering rate, so we would not have free breakfast... I don't remember booking the self-catering rate, but did show the attendant my confirmation of booking which showed both "Free Wi-Fi" and "Free breakfast"...

Port Elizabeth Stopover

I stayed one night at the Bluewater Beach Guest House. The owner could not have been more helpful, and my single room booking turned into an enormous two bedroomed flat as that was available! Breakfast was good too. The hotel is a bit out of town, so if you want to go into the centre of PE it is a drive. But the location is next to a very long sandy beach, so if that is what you are looking for it is perfect. For me it was also very good as it is within 5 minutes of the N2 and therefore ideal for a night's stopover.
