The people there (Charmaine and Daphne) and the owner went out of the way all the time, and when I had a problem. They made working away from home feel like home.

Goed hotel vlakbij het centrum

Leuk hotel, goed onderhouden kamers voorzien van alle gemakken. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en lekker ontbijt. Enige minpuntje is slecht werkende WiFi.

Nice but needs upkeep

Good area and guesthouse would have been great in it's hayday but now a bit run down.great pool. Comfy beds. Leaking air con. They had our dates wrong and then put us in a worse room than the one we booked which was meant to have a balcony and double bed. Wifi only worked on first day then died.

In Port Elizabeth sicher und gut schlafen

Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht eingeplant. Die Unterkunft liegt nur leicht außerhalb in einer Villengegend. Ein Mietwagen ist erforderlich. Tolle Ausstattung mit Pool; obendrein sauber und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war ein Hammer. Wir wurden verwöhnt von der überaus freundlichen Betreiberin. Das Hotel bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben .

Stay away.

We did not stay there as they were fully booked, so can't write a review. All I can say would be that they should have better control over their bookings especially since we were booked 8 months ahead. WE found out about the change 2 days ahead and arrived there to be told to proceed to another place they had contracts with using a map and incomplete directions. Very unsatisfactory!

Mehr Schein als Sein

+++ Sehr geräumig und gute Ausstattung mit Couch, Schreibtisch, Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Parkplätze im Hof, großer schöner Pool und super Frühstück. --- Selbst für diese Preisklasse in Südafrika zu schmutzig und zu viele Defekte. Alle Textilien (Handtücher, Bettlaken, Kopfkissen etc.) hatten bräunliche Flecken. In der Dusche war Schimmel. Die Fernbedienung für die Klimaanlage hatte etliche Dreckspritzer (Essen oder Blut) – man wollte sich sofort die Hände waschen oder sie gar nicht erst anfassen. Der Kühlschrank war abgeschaltet und stand voll mit Wasser, was beim Öffnen erst mal in den Teppichboden gelaufen ist. Hier (südliches Afrika) ist es ja normal, dass hier und da unsauber gestrichen ist, Bohrlöcher in den Wänden sind, Glühbirnen kaputt sind und alle Halterungen im Bad lose sind – so auch hier. Die Duschwand war jedoch absolut defekt und der Plastikboden in der Dusche hat ordentlich nachgegeben. Morgens um 6 Uhr wurden wir von einem fegenden Mitarbeiter geweckt, der die ganze Zeit mit seinem Besens gegen die Wand und die Rohre gedonnert ist. An Schlaf war da nicht mehr zu denken. Krönung war eine Liste, welche Artikel alle im Bad vorhanden wären und ein großes goldenes Schild mit dem Hinweis, dass man keine Artikel aus dem Bad klauen darf. Natürlich hat die Hälfte der benannten Artikel gefehlt, war defekt oder anders, als beschrieben.

Very nice guest house

Very helpful staff. clean, comfortable room. Shower needed fixing as it sprayed the whole bathroom but we reported it and I am sure it will be fixed.
