"If you go in with high expectations, this is not the hotel for you. We were perfectly content with it however. Our towel rack was broken and one of our sink drains was stuck in the down position, but we had 2 sinks so we used the other one, no big deal. It smelled clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water. This is all we need when booking a room. The best part is that it was nearly half the price of all the franchise hotels in the area. I’d recommend...
"A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there."
"Stayed three nights. Quiet and comfortable. Only issues were staff not overly friendly. Bathroom floor dirty. Garbage overflowing at back entrance near parking lot. "
"The staff was amazing, he was able to point us in the right direction of good food, attraction, and a few laughs. Only have 4 stars due to the bathroom had left over hair on the sink and the tub/shower had dirt left behind. "
"The check in time is a little late (3 to 4pm), but they will let you go on the beach to wait, which was lovely. There's also a beach front restaurant right next door. Wonderful stay, friendly staff! "
"Its a very nice place right on the water. That was our room. Can watch all the boats go by.The lady at the desk was great. Only thing I noticed needed grab bars in shower, We enjoyed our stay both times we was there, We had same room. We really liked that room. Took pictures from our window. We sat out back on deck. Have nice tables,chairs,umbrellas. If was younger we would go again"
