This amazing beach has lots of skeletal calcium carbonate remains of Rhodoliths which is the white ‘stone’. It gives the appearance of popcorn which also gives the beach its name. The island in the distance is Lanzarote.

One of the oldest houses in Corralejo, I can't remember if it is the actual oldest or just next door to the oldest, but it is an original fisherman's cottage in typical Canarian style with an interior patio - the patio is between the main house and the bedrooms instead of at the front or rear of the house.

And just down those steps ...is the beach, la playa de ninas. Small soft sand beach and calm waters perfect for children.
