"Room was exceptional and so clean. Loved the Aesop touches. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good but not included in price of room stay. Amenities amazing but lacked a communal shower in spa area near steam room and sauna which isn’t great for hygiene. The speakeasy bar is a great touch! Delicious and well made cocktails. "

"The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The restaurant on site was excellent with a nicely varied menu for breakfast and supper and was priced comparatively to the surrounding pubs. Most of all ALL the hotel staff were friendly, efficient and really made our stay special. A shout out to Manager Jeremy who seemed to be everywhere and willing to engage to ensure our stay was 100%, which it was."

"One of the female front desk staff was short and made me feel very embarrassed.i think she was if Eastern European decent . Possibly Ukrainian . She processed the wrong credit card for payment without asking me and it was denied. Which I knew it would be because I only have a $500 limit on that card for the purpose of being wrongly charged. It was only to hold the room. Her entire face and attitude changed like I was some kind of criminal. I gave her another card I actually wanted it on for...

"Woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse running up my chest. This place is kind of infested with mice - they’re in the common room, in multiple dorm rooms so switching rooms isn’t even a viable option, and they seem to travel through tunnels in the walls, leaving scratching noises all night and droppings everywhere. There doesn’t seem to be anything that can be done by them - the front desk just gave me some dryer sheets and said the smell repels them apparently. The kitchen is also near...
