We have stayed in Junior Suite for one night. The room exceeded our expectations. It was renovated, very well kept. There were queues during the breakfast for serving the food, though there were plenty of tables to sit at. The restaurant seemed a little bit crowded. We gad a great experience. Recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but it was very crowded, especially with children. We tried to have a nice,formal dinner one evening, but children just started to scream and yell and play hide and go seek around us. The mother and father nearby seemed unbothered. We enjoyed the privacy of our room, and the fact that there was a balcony off from the room, which allowed us to have hot tea and enjoy the scenery.

Very nicely managed hotel. Service desk and everyone in the office is very pleasant and happy to help. Good size room, beds are comfortable and bathroom is good sized and clean. Breakfast buffet is very rich and tasty. So many items to choose from and coffees and drinks are good as well. I was impressed by everything at Alpin Resort and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful time in Poiana Brasov. Good work everyone. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable.

Breakfast was excellent! I have booked 1 night with Expedia, 2nd night with hotel directly. Men who checked me in was very good. Next day I called desk for Xtra blankets and they said why do I need more? After making clear my kids were with me. I booked a large room. They finally gave me an extra blanket.... Restaurants ath the property not kids friendly. Overall it was good

Very disappointing, bad experience.

The room was not clean, bad smell + cigarettes smell during the whole night (non smoking room), noisy party until 05:00AM, the hot dishes at breakfast were cold, rotten cucumbers that I wouldn’t dare to serve, the parking was full and they did not assist with offloading space or told us about the valley parking. Very high price for a very bad experience. We will never stay there again.

More like "4-star class" wish hotel...

General – the hotel is nowhere near the 4-star class, chronically understaffed, and has significant maintenance issues. Firstly – the parking was impossible, and neither was the valet. We spend at least 15 minutes trying to find someone to help us with parking… The staff is nice, but whoever is on call is pulled in 10 different directions and can not be available to all the customers simultaneously. Secondly – when we finally made it into our room, both mini fridges were out, one of the AC remotes was missing, and our phones weren’t working (we couldn’t call reception, concierge, or any of the restaurants on the property). Every issue or request resulted in a lengthy trip across buildings and staying in line to talk to the receptionist (very frustrating). The night before, we stayed in the Presidential Suite of Mercure Sigishoara, which was cheaper (140 euros /night), comparable in size, and had none of the issues. Thirdly - we contacted the management and Hotels.com, and almost (we got a bottle of warm champagne and a cheese plate) nothing was done to rectify the situation. So, unless this is hotel of "last resort" -- simply AVOID IT. Lastly, I want to commend Alexandru, who was extremely helpful and tried to go out of his way to help us out. He is the only one who made us feel welcome.
