"Beautiful friendly historic location. Excellent food, comfortable quiet rooms and a decent size car park. Service was great and the WiFi was good.
Sir Francis Drake used to live nearby for history buffs.
Deep in the Tamar Valley AONB there's much to enjoy.
Phone signal is shaky in Milton Combe."

"Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower.
It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!"

"Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area.
There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours."

"Very basic rooms it was stifling but could open the window a bit and they did provide a fan breakfast was not great the cooked was microwaved , it was like the room basic ok for a one night stopover also very noisy throughout the night with traffic"
