"We had housekeeping not show up on time although we had it for a whole day they came in. I don’t know what they cleaned in the bathroom did not make up the beds. "Bed was comfortable, everything was fine. Two (minor) complaints: no elevator (bad back and knees made this a big deal) and only 1 mirror in the room, at the bathroom vanity. As someone who wears glasses, this made it impossible to apply makeup appropriately, and no way to check final appearance before leaving for our event. Again - minor, but irritating."

"The hotel is in need of an update. The room was comfortable enough, but I couldn’t imagine staying here other than the one night. They are very clear that it is a continental and not a hot breakfast, so the pastries should be fresh and not hard or stale. Three of us checked in, but had to ask for more towels because there were only two sets. Staff, however, were responsive. If you’re looking for something modern and fresh, pass on this location."

"Front lobby staff were excellent and very helpful on check-in, but had a rude experience with one front desk staff when asking for a late check-out, think the name was Karen and maybe a manager, who was very rude. She basically said "late check-out you pay" but when I went to the lobby to ask a young staff, she said "no problem take your time". We only checked-out late by about 15 minutes!

"Great people, great rooms. Key areas of improvement-
1. Give bottled water to customers in rooms
2. Give better pillows
3. Better showerhead for nicer shower experience
4. Continental breakfast was a "scam" in the sense very limited options. You cant just give 2 varieties of fruits- honeydew & orange slices. Tea/coffee selection wasnt extravagant. I expected to see waffles, crepes, nutella, scrambled eggs, some earthy veggies, etc."

"If you’re looking for a clean and easy place to just lay your head down, this was perfect. Amazing location; streetcar stop right outside the entrance, and a public parking garage only 2 blocks away. Staff was great. Only downside I had was the AC was struggling, but other than that, loved it. Will absolutely come back the next time I come to Toronto. "
