As soon as you walked into the hotel all you could smell was marijuana. Room smelled-musty Breakfast was cold and eggs were rubbery. Coffee was cold. Shower head was nasty with hard water stains. The hair dryer was sticky and dirty. And the shower when in made loud scratching noises. I will never stay at one of these hotels again, I’d rather pay a little more money eh and stay somewhere else.

The staff at the front desk were absolutely amazing. That is probably the only good part. I was visiting for a concert at nearby Mohegan Sun. I had actually booked elsewhere but last minute needed to bring my dog. So, I last minute cancelled my first hotel (paid full $480) and rebooked at La Quinta. This was the cheapest place that was pet friendly. However, upon arrival I was met with paperwork that said that I’d need to agree to not leave my dog unattended. This was not specified in the booking. I was lucky that the front desk allowed me to leave my dog as long as she was quiet but the booking was misleading and had it been an unfriendly or rule stickler behind the desk, I would have been completely screwed. Now to the room. For the $400 that I paid to stay here, the room was pretty gross. The bathtub had mold on all over the tiles and there was hair in the drain. The shower curtain was moldy as well. The floor and rugs felt dirty. I think it’s insane to charge that amount of money for a room that was 20 minutes away from the venue and they clearly only got away with it because it was a concert evening. I will not be coming back here.

This place is in disarray. Was blown away by the poor condition of this hotel given the price I paid for it. Our room reeked of chlorine, or some similar chemical. They clearly knew it because they left the window open to air it out. That was a really weird greeting to the room. This place was super sketchy. We chose this place because of the price point. I would happily pay another $100 to stay somewhere else next time. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Staff was helpful and friendly! The property was going through renovations so it wasn't perfect visually, but they were keeping areas clean. Staff kept replenishing breakfast area all the way to end of breakfast hours, instead of leaving items empty. Some areas need updating in the room, but overall it was a pleasant visit.

The stag at the front desk was accommodating when I informed him that the towels were not changed out. Also, when they changed out the towels they did not take out the trash bins. In addition, we had to change our room because the hot tub tubing was visible due to a panel not repaired.
