The Ellysian Boutique Hotel
Beautiful, modern hotel right on the beach. The staff was fantastic, helping with our every need. The restaurant was the best we ate at in Belize. Try the herbed snapper and conch fritters. Also, great cocktails.

Turtle Inn by Francis Ford Coppola
Sargassum seaweed lines the beaches throughout the Carribean and this beach is no exception. Also, sand flies and mosquitoes were prevalent in this area, requiring nets over the bed to sleep at night. The property was nice, but very expensive.

Mariposa Belize Beach Resort
Mariposa was a peaceful retreat. We stayed in one of the tree houses and enjoyed reading on the deck in the hammock in the afternoon. The staff were friendly and did a great job making it feel like home for the week.
