The hotel lobby is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Oklahoma City!"

"The hotel is very nice, doesn't feel old. Restaurant is way above average hotel fare. BUT, I checked in on a Sunday and it took until Tuesday to get an internet connection. Each time I tried it was multiple pages of personal information ending with a $4.95 charge for internet. After two calls to the front desk I was told that as a Hilton Honors member it should be free - but it was not. Then they gave me a 'promotional passcode' that got me on. So either Hilton of Skirvin are trying to monetize each guest with $4.95 extra for internet? I mean really, even the cheapest motel 6 gives free wi fi. The front desk upon check in needs to explain the wi fi procedure. Thhey did not. In addition to the wi fi fiasco, I checked in on Sunday and spent 5 hours and 6 conversations on Wednesday to get my room cleaned to no avail. It finally got cleaned on Thursday. "

"Room was bad. You could here the gurgling water when petson above took shower. It was bad enough to wake us up. Instead of moving us ( sold out) Manager said he would place enough points in my acct to get a free room on my next stay. I mever received the points. Everything else was good"

"This is not a typical 2star hotel, but although it does have some nice amenities, this is a 1 and done hotel for me. First, the good news, nice bathroom with a full-size lotion dispenser stuck on the wall. You don't see that at this price point. But, after day 2, the shower door would not stay shut and would slowly slide open. Is this building settling? The breakfasts were better than average with biscuits and gravy. But they only had bacon on Sunday and the potatoes were McDonald style hash browns that did not fare well in the warming dish. This hotel shares a building with Sleep Inn. I don't know, but the wifi at MainStay is the number one reason I will not return to this hotel. The Sleep Inn wifi kept popping up first and blocking out the MainStay wifi, which was very frustrating as we need to use the internet day and night during our stay. It would take up to an hour to connect to the internet. It never got any better over our 4 day stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Bricktown. But, when we asked to go on the shuttle the front desk person could not find the driver, then after 10 minutes she said the driver is in Bricktown now and will be back in 5 minutes. After another 10 minute wait, I asked where the shuttle was. She left the front desk, went into a back room. When she came back, she said the driver had a flat tire. Did not believe her for a minute. And that brings me to the staff. The staff here is very lackadaisical. Windows: thin, noisy and windy"
