Great place to stay. The breakfast voucher at the restaurant in walking distance was phenomenal. Dinner at the inn delicious. Definitely will reserve again when coming thru.
Had most of our meals at the Inn, lunch, happy hour dinner and the Sunday brunch. This place gets a six star rating the best service place ran like a well oiled machine. From the host to bartenders to waiters, best service I have experienced food and drinks were excellent.
The historic Inn has been beautifully maintained. Our room was in the original part of the hotel (about 200 years old, we were told), and was wonderful. A modern room with all of the original character. The staff was very friendly. We stopped in at the on-site pub for a drink. The service was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was no on-site breakfast, but they gave each of us a $10 coupon for a breakfast cafe just down the road, which was excellent.
Gorgeous 18th-century building, carefully updated without destroying the charm. The manager showed us to our room--seriously!--which was a good thing since we could not have found our way through the labyrinthine passages and antique sitting rooms to our little corner of the original structure. Restaurant/bar was delightful, too. Already looking forward to our next trip there!
This is a historic inn in Doylestown PA. A historic town in Bucks Cty. You need to expect a few hiccups...it's not a new hotel. But I love staying here. Comfortable, quiet, close to where I'm going with a excellent restaurant and bar downstairs (their claim to fame these days) not expensive. I always stay in the Historic section but there is a newer section as well.
Lovely Inn, with helpful & friendly staff. The restaurant/bar downstairs was both convenient & delicious. I stayed in the historic section for 1 night. The room had newer aspects than I expected.
Although I only stayed one night for a wedding, I absolutely would have stayed more! The staff shows you to your room and tells you about the history of the property which I absolutely love. I stayed in one of the original rooms and it didn’t even feel like it was old, but was still nicely updated. The only minor, tiny issue was that there’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom, but that is normal with older properties. However, there was an extension cord in my room to help remedy that I would absolutely stay here again, even just for a little staycation.
The inn is beautiful, rooms are gorgeously appointed and generously sized. Plenty of amenities and a restaurant and bar really helped make my stay wonderful.
