"No hot water, and every time I stay at this hotel I have the same no hot water problem Brought it to the staff and all she did was give me an extra 1000 Marriot rewards, but I still had no hot water, figure that….for the money you pay to stay here, you’d think the water would be hot."

"My room was damaged and dirty. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the bathtub. The curtains were damaged, and one was completely absent. There were stains on the walls and doors. The entire room needs an upgrade badly. Considering the Sandman Signature in Kamloops is one of the more expensive places to stay, I expected much better."

"We really enjoyed our stay. I was presently surprised at how comfortable the beds were. Everything in the room was updated and they even had items like cutlery, plates and mugs. We love reading the sayings on the mugs and some made us laugh. I would recommend staying here, I know we will stay again."

"Very clean comfortable beds. Excellent front end staff and amazing housekeeping. They changed our towel and made our beds. Very few hotels do that these day. The hide a bed however was a little less desirable. You will have to ask for more bedding to sleep on top due to a very spring felt bed. However that’s the only drawback Very quiet and relaxing hotel"

"The lady at the front desk is extremely smug and snobby. We chose this hotel for the hot tub because I suffer from chronic pain and needed a soak after a long drive. The pool was filled with nearly 40 teenagers screaming, hitting each other, throwing flip-flops around, cracking the towels on the water which ruptured my eardrum. No chaperone to be found. Front desk shrugged off my complaint. The next day I was on the hours-long hike that we had travelled to Kamloops for hours into the desert,...

"My room smelled like cigarette smoke. The front desk person could barely speak English and couldn't understand anything I said on the phone or in person. It was extremely difficult. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, and I asked for no cigarette smoke, no smoking, no nothing, which should be the law by now. Someone smoked in that room, and I had allergies the next day for my surgery, where they had to give me a whole bunch of Benadryl before I was able to get surgery."

"The room was lacking and a bit rough. The carpet was filthy. 2 small towels for the bathroom. The bed cover had a large stain on it. The room was very noisy at night. While the AC worked well, it was very loud. No pool or hot tub, which was advertised on the website. The check in staff was not the best. I paid with a visa debit card and had never had an issue using it for a hotel deposit, except for here. They wanted cash, so I had to find an ATM just to give the deposit. I asked for a receipt...

"Do not book this property. It's an absolute dump. The floor is taped together with duct tape. It's a 2 story building and one staircase is blocked. I am pretty sure this is totally illegal!!!! This place gives a vibe, like body found in the dumpster. Also way over priced. Payed 160 for this dump."

"If you're looking for some place to lay your head and you're exhausted, keep driving especially if you're a "non-smoker". Everything about the room "smelled of smoke" and I had to turn the air conditioner off because all it did was fill the room with the odor of cigarettes."

"The hot tub had no water in it. The pool area looked dirty. There were no coffee mugs in our room to make coffee. There was no Kleenex in our room. The bottom of the tub needed a good scrubbing. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Very friendly and sweet."
