"The building was under renovation with workmen and building material name around a large section (excluding the bedrooms ). The building is old and in a state of disrepair. The bedrooms have been partially renovated but there is much to be done and there is a need for a deep clean and a repair and repaint of the rooms. But ..,., cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. "

"The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too. "

"We had a lovely one night stay in the quadruple family room as part of my husband’s 50th birthday weekend. The staff were friendly and welcoming, our room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was lovely although the portions were on the small side (that could just be me being greedy though) 😂 We would definitely stay at this hotel again. "
