"The location of the hotel is bit remote. You’ll have to walk some 15-20 minutes to the town to get food, drink and buses. But the hotel overlooks the valley and the view is unforgettable. The hotel room is very clean. I like the olives and preserved eggplants at breakfast. They are local food that usually not found at the breakfast of other hotels. It is a very unique experience at Casa Pendola. If you prefer quietness and the view of countryside this is a place for you. "

"Villa Elisa is a beautiful house in a fantastic town. It’s a perfect location if you plan to hike The Path of the Gods. It’s also a great location if you’re looking for a quiet town in the hills with great restaurants. An important point of clarification - in the property listing it states that it is 9 minute drive to Amalfi beach. This is not accurate. It is at least 30 minutes by bus and a taxi is about 90 euros. Also, both times we tried to take the bus from Agerola to Amalfi, it was...

"This was a really lovely guest / farmhouse experience. The room was clean and tidy and perfectly suited for our need of day-tripping the Amalfi region with a car. The grounds were delightful with lots of produce being grown which was all used in the simple but wonderful breakfast that was served each day. Staff were lovely and we spoke several times with the owner and got lots of good advice for seeing the region. Make sure to say hello to the tortoise!"

"Manuela was a wonderful host! The property itself was beautiful and the views were worth staying that high up in the mountains. Takes about an hour to get to Amalfi by bus (always crowded, don't be surprised if you have to travel standing) but the property itself is a respite from the crowds and the heat down on the coast. Loved my stay here! "
