Amazing breakfast ,this property has an excellent chef , beautiful setting 20 minutes outside of the city alongside the majestic mighty Mekong river …perfect for some relaxation and retreat

Exceptional residence right on the river Mekong

A beautiful setting alongside the magnificent Mekong river Spacious and very comfortable suites with delicious food for breakfast and a variety of dishes available to suit all culinary tastes , a gem of a discovery just a short ride outside of Phnom Penh city ,a team of very helpful ,friendly staff whom will do their best to look after their guests

Not 5-star service. Maybe 3 stars.

Architecturally, a pretty hotel with plenty of room. Two complaints: What gives a 5-star hotel five stars, is the service. The young staff, although polite and respectful, were not well trained, (if they were received any training at all). The hotel has only 18 rooms and one restaurant, which was good, but limited in menu. Secondly, the hotel is 30 minutes from the city, and the hotel works with a transportation company that is 30+ minutes away. So, plan in advance. This would be a nice hotel for a wedding party, but not for a tourist or business visit to Phnom Penh.

Superb setting on the Mekong River just a short distance from the city , very good breakfast with a world class chef cooking delightfully presented dishes , suite very spacious with private courtyard within ,good value for money ,the GM and his team really want you to enjoy your stay

Excellent great escape

Great escape from Phnom Penh city, so quiet, warming welcome and excellent hospitality. Architecture is modern, food is nice. Nice view of Mekong river with big swimming pool. Little bit of insects but ok. We will definitely go back their soon.

리조트 이쁘고 환경도 좋고 음식도 맛있습니다. 시내하고 떨어져 있어 타다가 안 잡혀 호텔에서 불러준 차 타고 나갔습니다.(18불이라 좀 비싸네요) 갔던날은 옆에서 종교행사가 있는지 밤까지 좀 시끄러웠습니다.

Best resort I've stayed in, highly recommend it!

Our stay at the Bale Phnom Penh was nothing short of amazing, not only were all the amenities 5 stars, but the staff were professional, and the resort manager Mika was always attentive to our needs. I highly recommend the resort to anyone, we will be going back again, thank you to all the staff at the Bale, we really enjoyed our stay.

Huge comfortable courtyard room with a fantastic bathroom. Wonderfully large swimming pool. We were impressed by the design and decor, and the excellent friendly staff.

Superbe design hôtel au calme

Un peu retiré de Phnom Penh, caché dans un quartier résidentiel, cet hôtel design en bord de rivière est une très belle surprise. Chambre magnifique, très belle piscine avec pour seul bémol la qualité de certains matériaux qui risquent de vieillir rapidement sans vigilance soutenue.

merveilleux séjour

superbe petit complexe situé sur le fleuve Mékong de toute beauté admirablement géré par lucas et carlos . accueil chaleureux j ai choisi la suite supérieure en étage avec vue sur le fleuve la suite très grande a une immense terrasse avec une petite piscine on se croirait sur un bateau de croisière tout est agréablement décoré.la piscine principale longue de 30 mètres se noie dans un décor de carte postale. le restaurant a la carte est de la pure gastronomie les plats sont préparés avec gout et recherche. cet hotel est très propre et calme sauf le samedi jour des expats de plus lucas prvilégie l écologie donc pas de plastique meme les pailles très belles sont en métal je recommande vivement cet hotel sublime loin de la ville certes mais o combien reposant un grand merci a toute l équipe du balé hotel qui nous a fait passer un séjour de reve grace a leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme

Under the Radar Gem

From the moment we areived, we were treated like we were the only guests stsying at the property. The room was incredibly stylish and relaxing, but their greatest asset was their team - every last employee was beyond standard friendly, and their genuineness shined through - we’d stay there again hands down in a hearbeat, despite it being a bit off the beaten track relative to the center of town.

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans ce magnifique hotel et nous avons apprécié tant la situation calme et paisible le long du Mekong, que notre chambre parfaitement aménagée, que la cuisine raffinée ou encore Luca et son équipe qui étaient tous parfaits. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander ce lieu qui offre un parfum de sérénité et de raffinement à 15km au nord de PP. La cooking Classe avec le passage au marché central, le cours le long de la rivière est a faire.

Nice but still needs improvement

Service was good but my request for an upstairs room was denied even though entire block was empty. I could’ve pushed harder but it’s a 5 star establishment so I don’t see why I need to. Cleanliness could be improved as there was an open tea bag. Bath amenities should be supplied for a 5 star establishment. Plunge pool had mosquitoes so didn’t use it. in summary, don’t think the river suite was worth the additional $

Incredible heavenly place

A few days of bliss. Such a special place. We stayed for 3 nights and we're more than empressed with our time here. It ticked all the boxes. The staff are so nice, the pool was crystal clean, the room was gorgeous with a private garden, the food was super and overall the whole resort is so peaceful. So worth every penny. We are so grateful to have found the Bale Resort. Thank you for everything.

Nice and quiet hotel

This is a perfect option if you want to relax in a quiet and tranquil environment. The only problem is the hotel is around 25 mins drive from the city which is less convenient. But the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in arranging transportation and trying to understand every need of the hotel guests.

Nice new hotel, staff and manager very friendly and accommodating, great quite location along Mekong River. If you want to get away and relax this is great location. There are no placed to walk to eat, only hotel restaurant which has great food selection and try’s to maintain organic fair. If you want to visit all the sites in Phnom Pehn it can be up to one hour, horrible traffic especially since one bridge is out of commission. We had a river front suite, second floor, which had a cold private soaking pool which was a bit dirty, leaves and bugs floating in it, etc and somehow a big frog got in our room and had to chase it out, no idea how it got there since it would have to hop up all the stairs? The lock on our sliding door into suite was broken. Overall 4 out 5 stars, great staff and very very friendly.
