"This resort is the older style bungalow type. Yes, it’s a little dated, but is well kept and exactly what I wanted. Traditional Thai beach bungalows at a good price. Sheets were great, pool and grounds well kept by lots of staff. A great breakfast and lovely beach."

"The people who work at these facilities are never to blame, they work with what they are given. The hotel manager was an angel, his staff exceptional but the hotel is in great need of renovations or general maintenance. Investment is needed to bring it at its grandeur. "

"direct at the beach, appartements OK, not more, breakfast not international standard, thai personell was the best during our stay, management with owner not customer friendly, very special mail-communication with management before arrival, very poor location in khao lak, Very large distance to vacation infrastructure for tourists, too far for tourists concerning daily trips and other sightseeing events, definitely NOT to RECOMMEND"

"Beautiful beach, comfortable bed & good shower, clean & perfect for what we needed. Food was good in the Similan restaurant & breakfast also really good. Staff were friendly & helpful. Was a 400thb taxi ride into bang Niang night market so away from the centre but quiet for us & a short transfer to the pier for the early bird Similan island tour we booked in advance. "My stay was wonderful. The owners are the kindest, sweetest people you will ever meet. They were so helpful with anything I needed. The property is beautiful surrounded by mountains, jungle, and a shallow river to swim in. My tent was very cozy and had air conditioning which was really nice at night to sleep. The property is tucked away so it’s nice and quiet in a valley. Very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone who enjoys camping. "

"The rooms are tree houses but the novelty wears off quickly as access is awkward and very little works as it should. They work full time repairing the place but nature is reclaiming it faster."

"We stayed for 3 nights and would have been happy to stay longer. Our room was excellent with everything we needed. There was plenty of choice for food in the restaurant, where we ate each night. The swimming pool was a great place to spend time at the end of a day out. Sia the manager was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. I can highly recommend the Hotel Khao Sok and Spa."

"This was a very beautiful resort, very quiet, and stunning veiws of the mountains, if you just want relaxing is very ideal. But it is in the middle of nowhere so very hard to go anywhere if you dont have transport. They do have a free shuttle into the village, but if you want to come back you only have less than a hour to look around otherwise you have to hunt round for a taxi."

"We loved this resort. Fabulous location right in the middle of the village. Walking distance to multiple restaurants, shops and bars. The restaurant and rooms and pool set back from the road in stunning tropical surroundings. Staff so friendly and welcoming and helped us with organising activities and taxis . Our room was compact but clean with great amenities such as hanging racks, complimentary snacks, coffee and tea facilities. A nice big bed and bunks for our son. Great aircon. Massage available onsite too! We would definitely stay here again "
