"I was “in-between” places and Sappho Hotel was in the budget, location and availability for three nights. My ONLY negative comment and it’s not just Sappho hotel, is that there are no designated smoking areas. As a non smoker you’re subjected to it everywhere. Please note: I was a smoker, I love to smoke, so I am not judging. Rather you are just surrounded by it constantly. From the rooms next door, from below and above. Otherwise i enjoyed my time in Greece and at Sappho Hotel"

"I stayed here for 2+ weeks. It is a perfect location, and has everything one needs. My room was clean and offered a lot of space, including an outdoor patio on the second floor. Stove top is offered, but few cooking items. There were pots and pans and a dish rack. But not a real way to cook. "We had a lovely time at this hotel with the kids. The kids pool is perfect to let adults rest on the side but keep a close eye on them. Rooms are basic but clean. The lift needs an upgrade as it is like entering a prison and the wardrobes of Narnia at the same time! Great coffee's from the pool car."

"Beautiful property great accommodations, had a luxury sweet with sea view. Property is terraced with reception, pool and food available on the lower section of the property. Beautiful infinity pool with absolutely stunning views especially the sunsets. Close to Petra and is about a 25 min walk but if you’re not in great shape get a cab. Also very close to Molivos which has great dining, shopping and cultural/historical attractions. Great part of the island to explore. Staff was friendly room was spacious with a fridge, hot plate, toaster, coffee maker, TV and a washing machine which was great. Also a nice patio to dine or spend time relaxing and an additional balcony off the bedroom to watch the sunsets from. Hope to come back next year."

"As a solo traveller, I found Michaelia Hotel to be a good value-for-money choice. The hotel is quite old and the furniture and facilities are dated, but everything is clean and well maintained. The location is one of the main advantages of the hotel. It is within walking distance of beautiful beaches, as well as restaurants and bars, which is very convenient when travelling alone and without a car. One of the highlights is watching the beautiful sunsets from the balconies. A special thanks to Rodulla, who is incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help. Her warm hospitality made my stay much more enjoyable and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but adequate, with enough options to start the day. Overall, if you are a solo traveller looking for an affordable beachfront hotel in a convenient location and you don’t expect modern facilities, Michaelia Hotel is a reasonable choice."
