Pleasantly surprised

Everything was so clean! Granted the room had a cigarette smell to it, but everything worked perfectly and the towels were bright white and smelled brand new

At first I feared a little for my personal safety and my property. The area is run down and has some poverty issues. Overall my room was nice and nothing happened. I never had an incident where myself of my vehicle was in danger. The staff was friendly and the longer term people living there were friendly.

The room seemed pretty clean, but the furnishings were pretty tired and had tears in the upholstery. There was a big soap pumper next to the sink for hand washing and that was empty. In the shower, there were big pumpers with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but they were all empty except for the conditioner. It's frustrating when you get in the shower and you're all wet and then there's no soap or shampoo to use. There was no outlet anywhere near the bed so I could charge my phone and still have it near me. I had to use an outlet all the way across the room. There was a decent sized refrigerator and a small microwave, along with a small counter that had a sink for kitchen use. This hotel seems to be used primarily by Workman who are working in the area and staying there. Since there is no smoking in the rooms, they all stand around outside smoking on a regular basis. And most of them looked pretty rough. I felt safe enough in the room because there was a deadbolt, but I would not stay there again.
