"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Overall our room is excellent with the harbor view from the room window. A minor point, the water vessel in the Nespresso Coffee machine was leaking. It will be nice for the staff to check before guests arrival, we didn't use it in the end but reported it. It is a shame but I can always get a good coffee from the cafe near by."

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"This B&B was well located to explore the area. The room was sufficient and comfortable for a 2 night stay and there was enough free parking and restaurants round about which helped make the stay easy."

"A wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts."

"Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs."
