"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

All staff especially those in the bar and restaurant areas worked very hard and provided excellent service. I would certainly return. "Everything was ok-ish for this grade of hotel. The pillows were not very comfortable and the shower curtain does not work well. You end up with water all over the floor if not placed correctly. Great location, right on the marina. Lovely bars, coffee shops, restaurants. Quaint high street."

"Great location, however the idea of being awoken earlier than anticipated by faulty air conditioning. This triggered the in room gas leak detection alarm, which the on site staff responded to quickly by turning the air conditioning unit off. Silenced the alarm, but turned a/c off, and we were the up w hours earlier than anticipated for early departure, which was the reason for staying close by. Appreciate these things happen and grateful for alarm, however presume ac had not been serviced."

Booked via Expedia specifically for a sauna/pool and then found out despite being listed as a hotel with pool in the filters it's a prebooking required and hefty extra fee..!
