"Hotel staff were so lovely and helpful so this is not a reflection on them at all, but it is located right next to the main road through Uluwatu (even if it only looks a small road)! The balcony doors did not close properly or lock which also let lots of noise in, regularly had only a couple hours of sleep. Could be a lovely place if well maintained but instead it is already dirty and grimey. Although staff were amazing breakfast took 45 minutes to come multiple times. A good location for...

"★☆☆☆☆ — Dirty, poorly maintained, and unacceptable
New Kuta Hotel was extremely unclean and badly maintained. I arrived around 6 p.m., but my room still wasn’t ready. There was no room key, so I had to rely on staff to open my door.
The elevator only worked about half the time. The doors would open and close, but when I pressed my floor button, the lights would go out and then come back on. It made me nervous to use it.
The room was dirty, and the whole experience was so unpleasant that I...

"Great little bungalow stay. There are only 5 units on the property so I felt like I had it all to myself. Being away from the busy streets was nice and it's only about a 10 minute ride by Grab scooter to "downtown" Uluwatu so I didn't feel too far from the action. The pool looked nice and inviting and I wish I was there long enough to enjoy it."

"The room, garden and pool were nice. However, the water was cut off in our villa for hours the first morning, with a slow reply to my message about the problem.
So no flushing toilet, couldn't wash hands and no shower. It came on hours later. It was hard to communicate with the staff because the person who could speak English wasn't there. Then the next morning, it happened again!!
There was no consolation for our inconvenience and they weren't very apologetic, only a simple message on the...
