We had a great stay as a young family. Rooms were clean and bedding lovely. Just across the road from the shops including supermarket, takeaway and two restaurants (book early!). The kids loved the playground and pool. Thanks so much Carole!

Peaceful Pauanui
Family break in lovely Pauanui. Motel is in a great location near to shops/restaurants and short walk to beach or mini golf. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Facilities are good….lovely pool area and tennis court and new games room. Would be happy to return. Carole is lovely…made us and our dog Dexter very welcome.

Ok but needs modernising
Location of the motel is very good. The site is large and has some scenic views from the grassed communal area but not from the cabins. The cabins are very dated, they need new kitchens, modern furniture and a lick of paint. The beds were very comfortable and shower has good water pressure, the cabins had been cleaned well. On reflection its very expensive for what you get in reality. The spa pool and the swimming pool were dirty so we did not use them.

Great stay in Pauanui
A very peaceful location close to the shops and cafes. Very comfortable and well equiped. It is great to stay somehwre with comfortable seating for reloaxing.

Great location to beach, shops, international lakes golf course. It’s worth going to the lakes golf course for a meal(best pizzas) hosts jarred & Chloe are amazing. Beautiful golf course & pro shop packed with items for all levels of golfers. Would recommend this motel to others

Carole and Simon were so friendly and accommodating! We are truley appreciative of the extra mile they were willing to for me. Lived the spa, pool was awesome, just wish didnt get sick so could have really enjoyed everything! Grounds are stunning, and being able to have my fluffbabies with me during such an intensly serious time really made the difference. Thankyou so much for having us 💜

The room and surroundings were very clean and tidy. Staff were very polite and the owners were very accommodating with our last-minute request to have our small elderly dog stay with us. All in all, it is a great place to stay and there are so many facilities i.e. Pool spa tennis court barbecue.

We had a very pleasant stay at Pauanui Pines Motor Hotel. It started with a warm welcome when we arrived and the room was excellent. Big, well equipped with the addition of a little table and chairs in front where we could enjoy the weather!

The property was very clean and pleasant. The bed big was so comfy. It was nice and quiet and centrally located in the town. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved the cabin and will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Amazing place to stay. So peaceful and beautiful coastline - great for recovering from jet lag. David and Julie (owners) very friendly and helpful. Only complaint - should have stayed longer!
