Worst case of miss-advertising ever. Dirty, shabby, no restaurant, no access to beach. I booked a deluxe room with pool view. The view from my balcony was of a car park. The view from my front door was worse - a mass of electrical cables. The room was dirty, shabby and uncomfortable. There was stains on the walls and ceiling. The bedside lamps let out a warm glow not my design but because their shades were filthy. There is no restaurant in the hotel - it's a 40m walk crossing the very busy 4233 - where you take your life in your hands. There is no direct access to the beach - it's the same walk as to the restaurant. The beach itself can barely be called a beach - it's too small to lay a towel out, is rocky and has a sewage outlet. The pool was green. I never found the pool bar or gym. And each time I left or returned to my room I had to negotiate a mountain of dirty laundry. This is in no way a boutique spa - it's barely a budget hotel up a back street with decapitated and unused buildings adjoining it. It is a 20/25 min taxi ride into town costing 200 Baht - it's a 300 Baht Tutuk back. I arrived very late on Friday, spent Saturday finding a new hotel, checked out on Sunday! I've complained to Ecpedia requesting some sort of refund - but of course they are ignoring me. This is my first experience of Expedia - it is without doubt my last. Looking for low level budget hotel, look no further. Want half decent cleanliness and amenities, give a very wide birth.
