"Absolutely stunning, historic property. Exceeds expectation. If you like Four Seasons, this far outshines. Property, accommodations, staff, and location are outstanding. We stayed in beautiful hotels in Portugal--this one is far/away the finest. Location is in the center of the historic, beautiful, charming village, which cannot be missed for meals, strolling, photos, etc. Highly recommend making the trip to the Arouca Geo Park for the Paiva Walkways and the suspension pedestrian...
"Le calme de l'établissement. Le fait d'avoir un balcon qui donne sur la forêt. La literie est confortable. La chambre est spacieuse. Le petit dej est copieux. Le personnel est aux petits soins. "
"Il n’y a pas d’air climatisé. Le soir, c’était assez frais pour être agréable mais il n’y a pas de moustiquaires donc nous devions fermer les fenêtres à cause des moustiques abondants. La qualité de l’hébergement déjà excellente en serait améliorée grandement."

"Such a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was €18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. "
"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately.
