"The man at the breakfast place made up for the whole thing that went wrong. At the check in we were given zero info about time for the pool or breakfasts, etc. The lady was no very nice - all business. There was a gentlemen at the desk too who latee was very nice and helpful when I came back to ask for info. During night time water started dripping from the selling so we had to clean it all up since hotel was fully booked. The gentleman at breakfast made kids and I feel super welcomed. He told...
"The property is well kept and the customer service was excellent. If there is any negative is that housekeeping did not check the shelf above the coffee area. I found a bag of trash, including a pizza box left behind from the prior occupants. And also, you may look into adding another elevator, one is not enough, sometimes there are long waits. "
"The room was great, bed was a little soft for me. I would've given 5 stars if the bed was firmer but that's just preference thing. The thing that I appreciated the most is that I forgot my wallet in the room and I got a call within 10mins of leaving the premises to let me know that. I wasn't to far from the hotel so I was able to get back there and pick it up. Nothing speaks louder to me than honest staff.

" Cute hotel but the Room was tiny. There was no microwave or coffee in room. No bathtub. No pool or hot tub. Courtyard was smaller than pictured two fire pits in the middle of parking lot. Not much privacy - rooms face each other and have thin shared cabin walls. Breakfast was yogurt or coffee cake with only 4 chairs in the tiny dining area … not many options. It was clean, cozy and walking distance to downtown. Staff was friendly. Everything was just smaller than expected. "

"We had such a good time at the River Lodge! When we pulled into the parking lot, we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into, but once we entered the gate, it was like an oasis. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant was good, and the room was very comfortable. We had a nice mattress and pillows, soft towels, a fireplace, and a smart TV. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Paso Robles. "
