"We had a great hotel experience at Tru Hilton. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful everytime we needed something. The lobby was nice with plenty of seating, games and a pool table. They had coffee and tea ready 24/7. Our room offered a great view of the city. The beds were very comfy and we slept great! The Monkey bar on the 9th floor has delicious drinks, a small food menu and friendly staff. The bar had a ton of rooftop seating and the cityview at night was beautiful!"

"Front desk associate checking us in was totally in another world. He could care less about providing any type of service or information. Dude looked more interested in taking a nap than doing his job. Typical help associated with that area of Dallas. Hotel room was excellent. There was some sort of event taking place downstairs. Lobby and bar area was packed with loud and obnoxious “people”. Checked out at 0300 to catch a flight and they were still causing a ruckus in lobby. "

"This was such a lovely hotel! So close to a lot of things walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside was no onsite parking but there are parking garages nearby "

"Staff was very kind. Upon initial check in, I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. I went down again and was granted a room request on the 1st floor after discovering how slow the elevator ran. Overall, it’s an old property and it shows. There was mildew in the base of the shower and a cockroach in the bathroom. Snack area was very poorly stocked. Thankfully, we were in the room a very short time; bed was comfy and AC worked well. "

"Our first room locked us out and new keys wouldn't open the door. We were moved to a different room eventually. The pool room was dark, and the hot tub was out of order. The carpets in the hallways were really stained, and lighting in the rooms was cold and blue (not very inviting). Road noise from outside was also very disruptive at night."
