Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Arriving after 11:00pm, traveling 14 hours, the home was unsafe (back door was unlocked - owner admitted to this the next day) , an odor existed, house and yard were poorly maintained and there were roaches running in the kitchen counter when we turned on the light. We couldn’t stay, and had to spend the night in a hotel. We traveled back home - 14 hrs - the next day. The rental company was initially understanding and was sympathetic to us, but now 4 days later has not responded to our messages. The owner also has not taken ownership of the condition of the home. The pictures do not depict the current condition of the home. We have requested a refund, be are now being ghosted by the rental company, Evolve. We are saddened are vacation was ruined and at the time of $2200.
