  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

I love the large pool and Oceans Bar and Grill...and that it was beachfront. I also love the fact that the resort was fenced and gated which made my stay feel more safe and secure.

Lovely view, but many issues.

The view was stunning and the condo was beautifully decorated. We had issues with the appliances not working appropriately (dishwasher didn’t work at all, microwave was super finicky, freezer had a leak, hvac was locked). It was VERY warm in the unit since we weren’t able to use the AC. We had incorrect check-in instructions and very little information for use of amenities (no property map). Thankfully, housekeeping was able to bring the missing linens. It sort of makes me wonder if this unit has ever been rented before…

We liked that it had several pools. We liked the restaurant the food was very good. Good access to the beach. Good location. Room needs to be throughly cleaned. Water filled quickly in sink and tub, drained way to slow. Only 2 Elevator and then one stopped working while we where there. We had to go up to the 9th floor through the stairs.

Listing was misleading spoke to Expedia twice the day before arrival and they told me everything was correct. I asked them to fix the situation before we arrived, upon arrival I spoke with Expedia again stating the resort was in fact not where it said it was. I was told I could get a refund or switch rooms in the middle of all this I was hung up on 3 times by Expedia. My husband also had to call as well. The room was dirty, broken pieces, missing ceiling tiles.

The condo was made for midgets. It was also dirty and dingy and old. Having dust and dirt built up on the baseboards is nasty. I let Expedia and southern vacation rentals know and no one seemed to care. I suggest never book with either of them and to not expect much from edgewater anymore

The unit we rented needs updating a lot. Curtains didn’t cover entire windows and bathrooms/bedrooms needs attention. Over all it was an okay stay. Also pest control need to be a little more detailed they came in and sprays 2 places near the stove and sink they need to be thorough as the unit had roaches.

Three attempts at getting the parking pass, which located a mile way from the resort in an unmarked building, unmarked lockbox, hiding behind a car which was always parked there. Dog droppings were glued in the carpet in 3 locations, I assume from a pet in a non pet unit. 2nd day pest control at 9am knocking on the door. Called in the issues and compliant but they didn'trespond. We left a day early and wont be back
