This was probably the worst communication we have ever had at a property. We knew booking through Expedia was a risk, but we had VRBO one key points expiring. We are Hilton diamond members and travel a lot for travel soccer so have seen a lot.
Cons:
- The pictures are VERY misleading. They added some nice touches but overall it is not well maintained or very clean.
The property is beat up inside and out.
- There was light coming through the front door due to being worn out,
-The furniture and beds were completely sunken in with arm indents in the couch.
- The glass sliding door can’t lock.
- The walls and floorboards are in very bad shape.
- There is bad mold in the washer.
- There was hair in the bunk bed and on a master end table
- The exterior is decently maintained but also very old and beat up. They are in process of renovations which was not disclosed.
- the prop management company is owned by a private equity company. apparently there is a local PCB franchise owner, but it appears they try to route everything through the Philippines. We heard from everyone “the team will get back to you” and we have the receipts that this literally never happened by PCB people or corporate.
Pros:
The location was accurately described on the beach.
The checkin was easy but expect no follow up on anything.
There is a gated attendee at all times on the property which is nice.
We were able to do a 5 day rental versus a week.
