Maria Cristina Falls is a waterfall of the Agus River on the island of Mindanao. It is sometimes called the "twin falls" as the flow is separated by a rock at the brink of the waterfall.It is a landmark of Iligan City, nicknamed the City of Majestic Waterfalls, because of the presence of more than 20 waterfalls in the city.It is located 9.3 kilometers away southwest of the city proper at the boundaries of Barangays Maria Cristina, Ditucalan, and Buru-un.Well known for its natural beauty and grandeur, the 320 - feet (98 meters) high waterfall is also the primary source of electric power for the city's industries

We came from CDO, took a 1 and 1/2 bus ride to Iligan, then ride a Habal-Habal towards the Tinago Falls. We took around 436 Stairs going down towards the Falls, it was so tiring that I felt that Anyone would quit especially going up. When we arrived to the place, its sooo WORTH IT! The place is nice, they provide a Lifejacket with a Fee and also you can go under the Waterfalls using a Raft with a Small fee or you could go swim towards. #iligancity #thecityofmajesticfalls #asia #philippines

This is the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It is a 9 hectare land and has a 50 ft statue of divine mercy Jesus. When you are in the bottom of the entrance, you will see many steps, which has a total of 200 steps up to the top that is also an overlooking of Macajalar Bay. First, before you proceed in steps, you have to borrow a long skirt in the counter to show respect to the Divine Mercy. When you reach the top, you will be given an orientation in what to do/not to do when you go the top of the Divine Mercy Statue. You can buy souvenirs and can get water from the sink on which you will pray first. This is such a wonderful place. ❤️
