"Everything about this place is classic. The atmosphere is beautiful as well as the staff. First time to Oxford and for my purpose the location couldn’t have been better. Very sophisticated and comfortable all at the same time. Hope to visit the spot again but if I don’t it’s a top memory for me for sure"

"Found it very strange only one towel left in bathroom for two adults on a three night stay (extra towels provided when asked) Rooms are very small (expected at an easy hotel) but really not a fan as someone who values privacy of bathrooms with glass doors and no locks. If someone needs to go during the night and turns the light on in they disturbs other guests sleep. The air conditioning was a blessing in the heat and the fact that it was set to turn on and off automatically was great in the heat wave"

"My granddaughter had a very nice 2 day stay at the Ethos Hotel. It was conveniently located in Oxford. The room was small, but comfortable. A fan was provided because of the heat. Breakfast was served in the cafe across the street. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay."

"We had the pleasure of staying at the Old Bank Hotel for several days, and I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Oxford. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of everything. What truly makes this hotel exceptional, however, is its people. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, engaging, and genuinely happy to help. A special thank you to Grace, who runs an exceptional hotel. She makes every request seem effortless and never like an inconvenience. Before we arrived, the hotel kindly accepted several parcels for us, and everything was perfectly organized. The front desk team, especially Ariel, was outstanding. Everyone was knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help with recommendations, directions, or any questions we had. The thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. The complimentary minibar water was replenished daily, the large bottles left during turndown service were a wonderful surprise, and the heated bathroom floors were a luxury we appreciated every day. Dinner at Quod was excellent. The food was delicious, and Vanessa, our server, was charming, witty, and attentive. The hostess was equally welcoming and made for a wonderful evening. The Old Bank Hotel truly understands hospitality. We highly recommend it and cannot wait to return."

"Checking prompt and efficient. The room, although small was ok for our stay. Loved the White Company products in the bathroom. Tea/coffee in the room was a bonus. Iron and ironing board useful too. Breakfast was great from cereal, yoghurts, fruit juices, sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, fried, poached & scrambled eggs and omelettes to order, Danish pasties and coffee station highly recommend. The car park was also free for hotel guests."

"Really impressed with this hotel Shower room well maintained and cleaned spotlessly . Staff so helpful. Breakfast was all you could as for. One thing..Our booking was for 2 rooms which we booked at the same time. When we got to the hotel one room was on the ground floor the other 2nd floor. Both rooms had an Interconnecting door to the room next to it.it would have been nice if they had put us together on the same floor.made no sence to split us up but that honestly is the only thing"

"The staff were very helpful and parking was a breeze! Our room was snug, comfortable, and quiet. It's hard for our family of 4 to enjoy sharing a room, but this was a great spot! The location is great for walking to City Center and avoiding the congestion fees. Some might find the walk too far and although we didn't take the bus, it would have been easy because there were a ton of stops heading into City Center."
