"Historic charm, great value — we'd stay again For Sure! Stayed Saturday night for $82. Such a quaint, old-world stay. The Decker House (built 1876-78, Italianate, on the National Register, 17 rooms with the grand staircase from local woods) is gorgeous — original woodwork, metal cornices, right at the top of Main Street and 5 minutes to Maquoketa Caves. Room was spotless and comfortable, staff was friendly, location and value are excellent. Only reason I'm marking amenities 3/5 is breakfast...

"Great stop for our weekend in the area!"

"Nice town and a great place to stay if you are going through !"

"Great comfortable room. Very quiet."

"I go to Sleep Inn, because my dentist is across the street. There is a very good Mexican restaurant, also across the street. It is very comfortable. Unfortunately, their maintenance is falling off."
