"Location, cleanliness and price are great… however, they advertise that they have air conditioning and it just does not work. There was a fan in the room when we arrived. We complained after 24 hrs that the AC wasn’t working, we were given another fan and told it “takes time” to get cool. It was over 80 degrees in the room and so uncomfortable. Probably great in the fall and winter."

"I would not recommend this hotel. The location is good, but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing about our stay. The rooms were not clean, and the noise was unbearable, we could hear everything from the other rooms as well as constant noise from the street outside. On top of that, the room was extremely hot during both nights of our stay. We called reception many times asking for help, but nothing was resolved. Each time they said they would contact the manager, but no one ever helped...

"Very much liked our stay at City Box. Checking in was streamless and though there was only one elevator working at the time of our stay we never had to deal with waiting to get up to our room. Room was clean, bed was so comfortable, accessible to everything and a safe area. Extra towels were needed for the last of days and we were able to get them right away when requested. "Beautifully laid out and well maintained top hotel in Brussels. Nicely decorated, updated and quiet rooms. Very clean and fresh. Professional and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, nice cocktail bar and restaurant. Easy valet parking. Fairly centrally located along the prestigious Avenue Louise and in walking distance and/or easy transportation to many of the sights to see in Brussels and surrounding areas."
