Wonderful boutique hotel in a cool location.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a cool location. Nicely decorated. Great restaurant. Convenient to the motorway but still off the beaten path location. Outdoor dining.

Parking privé en interne, Petit déjeuner trop faible pour le prix demandé et facturation fautive (copier-coller d’une carte de visite). Hôtel en soi très bien, mais le petit dej est vraiment en dessous de ce qui on peut attendre d’un hôtel 4 étoiles! J’attends encore une facture rectifiée.

Hotel tres accessible mais au calme,en ete avec ses terrasses au bord de Meuse cela doit etre super. Par contre,le petit-dejeuner a 15 €: Pas d'oeufs',de salade de fruits,de yaourts. Jus d' 'Orange en bouteille de grande surface. Vraiment trop cher.

A nice out of the way hotel. Made the mistake of trying to check in early. Everything was locked. Luckily someone from the restaurant was able to help us to our room. There was a lot of outdoor space but rain kept us from using it. Loved watching the ducks on the river.

Hotel tres agréable

Tres bon hotel avec acceuil tres chaleureux. Les chambres sont bien décorées et la lit est tres bonne Il y a même un ascenseur panoramique La cuisine est tres agréable aussi. Le service est parfois tres long, mais en demandant d'aller plus vite tout redevient parfait.

The Au Comet de Mercy was a pleasant surprise on the River with outside seating. The restaurant was wonderful with knowledgeable staff and a menu of delights. The room had quality bedding and towels. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. This little spot makes travel delightful.

Clean and comfortable on the banks of the Meuse

This was our first stop from the channel port of Calais and it served our purposes very well. Reception was cool but efficient and things continued to improve from there. The hotel does not accept pets.

Slecht.

Bij aankomst bleek dat er verbouwd werd en het restaurant gesloten, wij kozen dit hotel om lekker te ontspannen en te genieten, Wij zijn dus niet verder gekomen dan een kort onderhoud met de nieuwe eigenaar. Hij wilde ons wel naar een ander restaurant brengen met een Michelin ster of een bieb gourmand. Dat is dus onzin, wij kiezen zelf en laten ons niet zo iets opdringen. Wij zijn vertrokken en hebben iets anders gevonden.

A very short but lovely stay!

We booked Au Comte De Mercy for one evening at the end of August this year. Upon arrival, we loved the building exterior and it's setting on the river. The owner greeted us, speaking great english and showed us to our room which was a 'Superior Double Room' with a balcony. The room was perfectly nice and very clean. We slept well and had a lovely, albeit very short stay! We'd recommend Au Comte De Mercy to anyone looking to visit the area. We did have a bit of trouble getting to the hotel however! There was a fair on in the village which prevented access to the road! We managed to find a detour but it might be worth checking with the hotel whether the fair is on as it's a considerable detour!

Very nice hotel in good area for good price.

Excellent and welcoming staff. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Quiet area near river.Safe parking. Food is great, but plan ahead for evening meal if you have very small kids...this is typical French/Belgian cousine atmosphere so people hang out with friends/family and chat it up over food...you may have to order and then one person take kid to room or walk around while you wait for food.

Hôtel qui paye pas de mine de l'extérieur, je dirais même plus qu'il s'agit de chambres d'hotes (environ 10) mais confortable. Chambre spacieuse et grande salle de bain. Restaurant très bon 37€ le premier menu. PDJ plus que limite 15€ pour 3 mini viennoiseries et 3 morceaux de pains ça fait cher ! Le reste du buffet (gardé par le propriétaire ) est bien caché et ne donne pas envie d aller se servir. À recommencer mais sans petit déjeuner cette fois.

Hätte mehr erwartet

Das Zimmer war eigentlich nicht schlecht. Aber am 2 Abend als ich aus der Dusche kam, bemerkte ich das KEINE Handtücher vorhanden waren!! Herllicher Moment! Leider fand ich an der Rezeption auch niemand mehr. Als ich am nächsten Morgen reklamierte, bekam ich nicht mal eine Entschuldigung! Wenn ich schon die Suite buche, finde ich so einen Service schrecklich!
