"This was our second stay at the NH Collection Flower Marker Amsterdam and we couldn’t be more delighted. The staff were very accomodating on check in and our Junior Suite provided the space and facilities we needed to recover from a long flight. The location is very convenient with close access to public transport to get around the city. Will definitely book here again on our next visit to Amsterdam."

"The doubletree is right next to the Centraal Station so easy access by train to the airport and public transportation. It was also walking distance to where my river cruise ship was docked. And walking distance to the city center. The coffee shop downstairs has a good selection of drinks and pastries. The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was modern and offered great views from the balcony. I highly recommend for any length of stay."

"The staff here were all great but this was listed as a 4 star hotel and in my opinion is really barely making it to a 3 star level. The beds and pillows were very lumpy and like sleeping on rocks. Staff was happy to provide other pillows when we asked. The room itself was pretty beat up and needed some new paint and the AC ticked constantly. Lastly the towels were thread bare and scratchy. We didn’t eat or drink in the hotel so no comments there. I definitely overpaid for what I got at this hotel. For half the price, I would have been a bit more meh about it."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, which makes this review particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, the property has declined badly. I originally stayed one night and paid extra for an upgrade to Room 272. While that room already had issues, including an AC unit that sounded like a toilet flushing nonstop all night , it was still far better than what followed. After checking out, my meetings unexpectedly ran late, so I booked a second reservation through Expedia for an Executive Canal View King Room. Instead, I was downgraded to standard Room 160, despite there being over a €90 price difference between the room I booked and the room I received. Room 160 honestly should never have been sold. The carpet was heavily stained, the floor lamp broken, the bathroom ceiling covered in visible mold, and the door chipped and damaged. The entire room felt dirty, neglected, and worn out. What made it worse was the handling by Assistant Front of House Manager Konstantinos Gkourovanidis. Instead of speaking to me directly, despite sitting only steps away from the front desk, he instructed staff to offer a €50 discount, less than the downgrade difference alone. When I insisted he speak with me, there was no apology, empathy, or accountability. The interaction felt defensive and arrogant throughout. I own a Small Luxury Hotel and a hotel consulting company, and what shocked me most was not just the condition of the room, but the complete lack of professional guest"

"(1) It's on Rembrandtplein, a street leading off Rembrandt Square. Another hotel named 'Rembrandt Square' is conspicuous in the square. The location of the NYX needs to be emphasized. (2) The bathroom had a tub and a shower. No instructions for their use was provided. (a) We finally determined that the circular control on the side of the tub controlled the volume of water entering the tub -- if the tub was selected. (b) Confusingly; it also operated the drain. Alas; the drain is slo-o-w. Is it blocked? (c) the upper control on the wall switched between tub and shower (d) it also controlled the shower's flow -- we think. (e) the lower control influenced the shower's water-temperature, with the slightest touch changing from tolerable to scalding."
