"Just the Hotel So my stay (and this review) is just about the Hotel because I am not a gamer or casino player. I booked here because of its proximity to a family business issue. I’m not sure how this place got rated as a four star hotel… maybe it is the casino that carries the weight. Not complaining… just an observation for a hotel where the bar closes at 9:00pm when the restaurant closes, there is no pool, fitness center or breakfast. The food I had was mediocre. The room was clean, bed...

"Beautiful Inn. Easy check in check out. The location was perfect. Our room was adorable with thoughtful details. We were not able to stay for the included breakfast but it looked & smelled amazing on our way out. I hate that we missed it."

"Good location, clean and updated rooms. Geographically close to Bates."

"We put our son up for the night because there was a fire in his apartment building and we live out of the country. He said the room was great! My only concern was that they needed cc on file and he doesn’t have one, they wouldn’t take mine over the phone. Anyway we were able to use his PayPal account, thankfully!"

"Everything is great about this property. Just one thing, the upstairs bathroom in the Harrison Suite has no curtain to close, only a lace cover that is see-through, so no privacy in the bathroom. Other than that issue, the inn is fantastic."

"great location"

"We had a quick one night stay in the area. The hotel and rooms were clean, although dated and a little tired. It was totally perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was very good with several options. Beds were comfortable, and everything worked well in the bathroom. Despite odd location, it was quiet. Nice to have a gas and Dunkin so close. We would stay here again if in the area."

"The hotel was better than I expected. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast options, large room, plenty of restaurants nearby and very reasonably priced. This will be my go-to hotel when I am in the area going forward."

"clean room: yes, odd smell upon entering the room, the walk-in bathroom setup was very helpful, including the shower chairs, bars, etc. the bed was comfortable though the tall height of the bed made it difficult to get in bed comfortably/easily. the staff: the man who checked me in was helpful, the woman in the morning did not understand me when I asked to add another night; and called several times to try to understand what I wanted. Parking: the parking lot was ok; but getting into the...

"This place was horrible!!!! The staff were helpful, or at least tried to be. Management was not! We stayed here 3 nights despite all of the issues. No vent in the bathroom, broken phone, shower didn't work right, loud guests, hallway smelled like Marijuana, wet, stained carpeting, broken luggage movers. Paid for a king room, transferred to a full room, no desk, no microwave, no coffee pot, low bed. Cold food which should have been hot, pool closed over half our stay, broken hot tub, had to...

"Well cared for Victorian Inn. Very comfortable rooms, each with a slightly Bohemian flair to the antique furnishings. Off street parking, close to amenities. Host was fabulous- friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive. Will return"

"Love loved everything about this place! The owner was So friendly and great to chat with. Awesome food ( breakfast and at their Barn/ restaurant) Great service, Incredible grounds and ambiance!! We Will be back"

"Last minute stay, great experience. Loved the employee of the year!"

"The only complaint was the door leading to the basement is very dangerous. My children thought it was the bathroom door and fell down the stairs. Other then that the stay was great!!"
