"The cottage itself is lovely, and has a lot of potential. It’s a large cottage which accomodates 5. Lighting wasn’t working in all rooms which was a nuisance and the facilities in the kitchen were dirty and not maintained well. Oven and stove worked, coffee machine filthy. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in quick, given all the info we needed. Classic Double room was larger than expected. Well stocked tea and coffee and biscuits. Lovely clean bathroom,good shower, plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was fine and catered for gluten free. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. A good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The majority were gluten free. The food was excellent. The pub is next to the railway crossing and station, but no noise overnight. Would definitely recommend. "
