Clean comfortable and a great place to relax after a long day at the beach or a night out on the town. The location is pretty central to everything. Jorge greeted us upon arrival and had great advice for restaurants and activities.

We were impressed on how nice the property was for the price. The room was an apartment, older style but well kept. We had a kitchen, dining area, French doors that lead to the bedroom and bathroom area. The property was nice and quiet around the pool area. We will be staying again in the future.

Nice and tranquil stay, i went solo, as a woman traveling along one gets to be wary and cautious about many things, but this place was nicde and comfortable, it really gave a sense of peace and belonging, the hosts, lita and her son jorge gave an exceptional attention. def would go back there. is tranquil and welcoming.

Staying at Kamerlingh Villa was a delight! I first booked a spacious apartment for my arrival, and then kept extending my stay! I also stayed in a room with shared bathrooms. The common areas outdoors and indoors are numerous, clean and pleasant with reliable wifi. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool between work emails! The owners are friendly, and quick to respond. They organized transportation from the airport, gave me lots of suggestions and also put me in touch with a car rental. Throughout my week-long stay, they kept checking to see if they could help in any way. If you are looking for a warm stay away from resorts in a quiet area, I highly recommend. Definitely keeping this address for my next visit!

Bait and switch

I purposfully booked a superior pool view with king bed because that is what i want. On arrival they tried to pawn off their "vip" room on is which had no pool view and two queen beds with no tv in the bedroom. I said that is not what i booked and i wanted what i paid for. The owner Jose came and said he gave it to another visitor. The room he gave us that had a pool view had 2 queen beds and the decor was downright ugly. Not like the room i booked. I asked for some kind of compensation and he avoided me for the rest of our trip. The matress hurt both of our backs. Was not comfortable. I will give credit where it is due...the place is super clean. Our room was inspected by staff before we left.

Great clean place to stay

The Kamerlingh Villa was amazing and everything was well organised. Very clean. Being a solo guest didn't stop me going out, without the use of a car. It was an easy walk into Oranjestad to get the tour buses or public buses to tour round Aruba. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely property with quaint setting. It is more like a hostel or owner occupied hotel with individual bedrooms but shared bathrooms. It is fine for couples. Owner’s father lived upstairs. Overall nice property but not what I expected. I wish the description explained bathroom and shower arrangements better. If it would have, I would have chosen a traditional hotel.

The area around the property is incredibly noisy. Traffic, roosters, dogs. If you are a light sleeper you may want to reconsider staying here. Having said that, after I mentioned that I couldn’t sleep to Jose, he was really accommodating and helped me find a different venue for my holiday.
