"Lovely unit and location. Very comfortable, clean and excellent service and advice from Julie. 100% recommend."

"Everything was good. We did find our bathroom a little bit awkward. We couldn't shut the shower door with the bathroom door shut. Breakfast was good. The coffee could have been a little better. The view was spectacular."

"Warm welcome by the owners, impeccable room and service. Would return anytime!"

"This was a clean, well maintained room in a conveniently located motel. Easy to find, parking available and all the attractions within walking distance. Owner was really helpful with booking local attractions and recommendations of good places to eat."

"Great experience and wonderful beach view"

"Excellent location. Friendly welcoming staff. Nice & tidy"

"Clean and very tidy."

"Great location. Well equipped. Helpful host. Had a wonderful time in Paihia."

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"We had the most beautiful stay here with our family of 9. we needed two of the rooms which slept 5 per room. The rooms were next to eachother and when we arrived the lovely host said they had moved the bbqs back so we could easily get to each room via the balcony instead of going out around the front. This was super helpful. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms were as well. Has all the basics you need for cooking, mini fridge, toaster, microwave and jug etc. tv in one room had sky, the...

"Die Suite ist sehr geräumig und bietet viel Platz. Die Unterkunft ist schön gestaltet und war sehr sauber. Das Bett war gross und bequem. Insgesamt eine emphelenswerte Unterkunft."

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...

"Haka House has the best location. Incredible views from the common area. Check-in was easy with clear instructions for arriving after hours. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only downside was ensuite has a bit of a sewery smell. With door shut it doesn't impact the bedroom."

"Major complaint are both the noise from the roof and the cleanliness of the cups and toaster. The cups and toaster were kept under the sink by the drainage pipe and visible molds all around. Was disgusted by it and wouldn’t want to open the cabinets let alone using the cups kept under the sink. The roof was cracking all night from both the wood and the aluminum. Couldn’t sleep for the 2 nights. Would not recommend this place!"

"The room was very clean as well as common areas. The 2 ladies we interacted with at the front desk (Ava & Debbie) were awesome. I give both of them 5 stars."

"An amazing stay the staff where so friendly and helpful"

"Great service. Even though it was a basic room for 2 Adults and 3 Children in separate bedding, it had everything we needed and the kitchen area was well equipped. "

"Spectacular location more than made up for the slightly dated room!"

"We enjoyed our Stay. What a Beautiful Spot. Very Spacious too."
