"Very clean and well maintained property! Shower was unbelievable! One of the best showers I’ve had great water pressure. Staff took a while to greet at the front, but other than that, they were very helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. After 6pm the main reception doors were closed so you had to go through the car park to enter the building which was a little bit annoying."

"Absolutely delightful old style hotel. Our hostess was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic - very lush decor with all the glamour of the Art Deco period. Especially loved the gorgeous old library well stocked with books. The provision of some port to drink while relaxing in the large comfortable leather chairs with a book was a real treat. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, particularly for those who welcome some good old fashioned hospitality. A great 4 nights and would definitely return. Many thanks."

"The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortably sized for two people. However, the parking charges were slightly expensive compared to other accommodations I stayed at during my 19-day road trip across the North Island. Overall is good !! "
