Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)"

"Stayed for one night in one of the standard double rooms. All the staff from check-in to check-out were friendly & helpful, the room itself was perfect (lots of space in the room, has a desk and tv, bed was comfy, shower was a lot bigger then we expected very modern, it had a small fridge and everything was clean). Restaurant & bar downstairs which was really good. Just remember there is no lift (which they state on the listing) if you come with heavy/lots of bags. This was no bother to us...

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! "The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. Tea. Offer available as was a nespresso machine. Bathroom had high end toiletries. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel "
