It was cool that this property is owned by the neighboring properties so the pools are shared via wristbands. The room was nice and king size bed was great.

Oh, that train

Overall, room was good. I wish the fridge was a bit bigger. The rest of the kitchen was functional. Room was comfortable. A train will run through Old Orchard Beach on a regular basis throughout the day and night

Stayed 2 nights and was very pleased. Checking in was easy and very friendly and next morning check to see if all was good was welcoming. Everything was WONDERFUL but the mattress probably should be changed. Not that comfortable...but ALL else PERFECT.

Read carefully which room type you’re booking because not all of them have ocean/beach views like the photos would lead you to believe. The bathroom wasn’t clean and the shower/tub are very small.

It's a motel room. I will not return.

This room was advertised as Poolside but is was actually Roadside. Uncomfortable because it is on the corner of a street intersection and very noisy. Neighbors can be heard having a casual conversation through the walls. The bed sinks in the middle because of a broken support.

Honestly the hotel itself was nice. I found it pretty upsetting that if you have 2 cars you need to pay an extra $20 a night for your extra car and park ACROSS the street. I've never heard of anything like that so right away I was out $60 because of that rule. I like how close it was to everything, it just seemed like the hotel was very strict. Will probably look at a different booking next time.

This is Old Orchard beach and all the properties are old I like this. I don’t like huge hotels everywhere. I like the character. The mattress on our bed was so worn out you simply rolled into the middle of the bed. It was absolutely horrible. I have had multiple back surgeries and ended up sleeping in a chair the last night. At $445 a night here this was really unacceptable.everything else was as you would expect at a beachside resort town that prides itself in not having huge box hotels move in. The Gull is a great place they need to desperately upgrade their mattresses.

800 dollars went thru expedia , had to switch rooms for a late friday check in to a sunday check out ... first room tv didnt want to work maids had unplugged phone and alarm clock to "clean" but totally missed the open single serve goldfish package and tissues behind the stand perhaps because the room comes with a card stating you must wash all your dishes and sweep everything and leave you trash at the trash receptacle ...maids dont even take used lotion out they just leave it for the next guess .. second room I had to move to Saturday was supposed to be ready early so I could enjoy my day and the room was not ready til almost 1pm ... half day ruined I required a heavy o2 machine at night and they moved us up an extra flight of stairs !!! I would never have spent 800 dollars on a weekend trip if I knew they would move me because the guest coming Saturday was staying longer !! Sad part is they were exactly the same rooms with differnt bathroom mirrors and decorative pillows just one was a flight higher !!!
