We had an excellent stay at Great Pines. Beautiful scenery right on Fourth Lake, and Snowmobile access. The only negative of this property is the unreliability of the on site restaurant. It seems to be rarely open

The location between Old Forge and Inlet is nice. Great views of the mountains and lake. Beds are super comfy, and rooms are a nice size. lodge is welcoming and a great spot to relax and have fun. Breakfast nook had some great lite choices. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

The view of the lake was nice. The walls are paper thin and you will hear everything from your neighbors. The room was comfortable and clean with the exception of the whirlpool tub. We bought Clorox and blesched it three times. Each time removing brown scum from the jets and plumbing. We finally got it clean (and hopefully sanitized) enough for use. The toilet had a leak which kept the floor around it wet, requiring the use of several bath towels. This sounds like a lot, but really the place is still nicer than most places in the area.

Room was very nice. Clean, well kept. Snacks downstairs were nice. Walls are paper thin and the heat was on absolute full blast which was brutal. Shower was very small and the angle of the shower head was very awkward. Other than that it was a good stay for an evening
