"The Rock ‘n Troll restaurant that is on the property was excellent. There is a waterfall right outside the rooms which was very peaceful. And the staff was great and easy to work with."

"What a lovely place! We had three of us stay in a room with a loft. The ceiling is a bit low on the stairs (watch your head) but the room was great! The room had kettle and some coffee packs. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Coffee good as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers. On the way out front desk staff helped us out with mapping out a few things to see and some good recommendations."

"The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is really comfortable. It also has a refrigerator. However, the shower area has a bit of an unusual design. Since the drain is slightly higher than the surrounding floor, water tends to run out of the shower and spread across the bathroom floor."

"I loved my little pod. It was super cozy and cute. I enjoyed the hot tubs and the walking trails around the property. The kitchen was well organized but could get busy during meals. There were plenty of bathrooms but they were all pretty basic. The private shower was busy and not easily available. The location is a good base for local sites but it was quite a drive out to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula."

"My partner and I were passing thru and stayed here for one evening. Out of all of the places we stayed this one was one our favourites. It was just so cozy and unique. Our check in was simple, we were not greeted by staff but were given easy instructions. We stayed in one of the trucks. The room was small very small.. but it was a fun and unique experience and fine for an evening. We did notice many other rooms that were bigger but we really wanted to stay in the truck! We also had our own private bathroom which is always a plus. What we really liked about this property was its restaurant! You have to take off your shoes when entering but wow, it was just a great atmosphere. Our server was so friendly and kind, he even offered us fresh tomatoes to try straight from the garden. They have cozy sitting spaces, I noticed a dart board, they even have a really cool and unique pool located outside. Breakfast was included. Overall this was a great find and a fun stay. I do recommend this place if you’re considering. Great for solo travellers, partners, groups and families. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"
