"The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"Staff was great. House needed a good cleaning. Comfortable beds except one had no mattress. Good location. Rate it as just satisfactory. "

"The location was fantastic, right across from the beach and promenade, but the room has a few issues. The view was off a wall and the building next door. The balcony has two chairs and a table on it, but the sliding glass door required a key to get (we didn’t have a key) and the windows from the balcony into the hotel looked into a different hotel room. Very strange. The parking garage was made for compact cars."

"Room was clean, a few stains on pillowcases that should be replaced, some chips and marks in the shower/tub that could be patched up, room was sufficient for our needs, the staff was lovely the breakfast was ok, a fair bit of options, pool was little but kids still liked it. Some maintenance would go a long way in improving the look of the place, but it was clean and the beds are comfortable."

"We stayed here for a festival in Holland Park. The walk to and from was nice and a great location. Breakfast was very good with more options than just cereal. Rooms were very spacious and we had a good view of the city."

"There was body fluids on the bathroom wall and no coffee anywhere on site. The staff worked in barefeet with flip flops. And the guest service was rude about us ordering food to our room at night told us not to use the lobby and walk all the way around with no elevator not worth 1300 for 3 nights at all ."

"The rooms were disgusting. I had hair on my sheets. A bug squashed on the wall. The bed was lumpy. The cabinets old looking. Toilet paper holder was rusty and put on wall with any old screw. To top it off it cost over $150.00 a night"

"Unfortunately our circumstances had changed - had to fly home. Tried to cancel the booking, giving more than two weeks notice. Receptionist could not speak very good English and hung up on me twice. Was unable to speak to the manager. Refused to reimburse me for my booking. DO NOT BOOK HERE - once you book you will not get your money back if you cancel."
